Riddrie

An eastern suburb of the city of Glasgow, Riddrie lies to the north of Carntyne. It was created as a low-density housing estate in the 1920s and many of its streets are named after Scottish rivers, for example, Don Street, Duchray Street, Gala Street, Leader Street and Lossie Street. Barlinnie Prison is located here.
