Riccarton Hills

A small range of hills in West Lothian, the Riccarton Hills rise to 254m (833 feet) southeast of Linlithgow. The cluster of summits include Beecraigs Hill, Broomy Knowes and North Mains Hill, composed of Mid-Carboniferous oil shale measures in the east overlain by basalt lavas to the west. The Riccarton Hills are contiguous with the Bathgate Hills to the southwest.
