A country park to the southeast of Edinburgh, Vogrie lies 3 miles (5 km) northeast of Gorebridge. Vogrie Burn flows through the park, which extends to 101 ha (250 acres) and offers natural trails, a walled garden, ponds, a golf course and a miniature railway, which runs in the summer months. The 19th-century designed landscape includes trees brought to Scotland by plant collector George Forrest (1873 - 1932). Opened as a country park in 1982, Vogrie is run by Midlothian Council and receives approximately 350,000 visitors per year.

Vogrie House, built by the Dewar family who acquire the estate in 1719, is now home to the Midlothian Ranger Service, who manage the park.
