Water of Philorth

A small river of the Buchan district of NE Aberdeenshire, the Water of Philorth rises on the northern slopes of Waughton Hill (234m / 768 feet) to the south of Fraserburgh. It flows northeast for 8 miles (13 km), receiving the Water of Tyrie, and enters the North Sea at the eastern end of Fraserburgh Bay.
