Eilean Musdile

A tiny uninhabited island located at the southwest tip of the rather larger island of Lismore at the entrance to Loch Linnhe, where the Sound of Mull joins the Firth of Lorn, the Sound of Mull. Eilean Musdile extends to 4 ha (10 acres) and is connected to Lismore. Owned by the Northern Lighthouse Boards, the island hosts the Lismore lighthouse, built in 1833 by Robert Stevenson (1772 - 1850).
