A loch located close to the west coast of the Shetland mainland, the Loch of Strom lies to the east of Strom and Haggersta and is 2½ miles (4 km) in length. It is connected to the sea in the form of the narrow Strom Voe between the White Ness and Strom Ness peninsulae.
