Ferry Hills

A small peninsula at the southern extremity of Fife, Ferry Hills lies a mile (1.5 km) south of Inverkeithing, facing Inchgarvie island. It provides the land-fall for both the railway and road bridges across the Firth of Forth, from which it rises steeply. The town of North Queensferry lies at its point.
