Queensferry Museum

Situated in South Queensferry's historic High Street, the museum offers unrivalled views of the Forth Road and Rail Bridges. Inside, displays tell the story of this Royal Burgh, and of Dalmeny, including the annual tradition of the Burry Man, whereby a local parades round the town covered in the burrs of a burdock plant, with the intention of bringing good fortune. The museum also describes the construction of both the famous rail and road bridges and the natural history of the area.
