Blackdog Burn

A stream of E Aberdeenshire, the Blackdog Burn rises on the Red Moss 3 miles (5 km) northeast of Dyce and follows a course of 4 miles (6.5 km) flowing to the southwest of the village of Potterton before falling into the North Sea 2 miles (3 km) north of Aberdeen. For the last 1½ miles (2.5 km) of its course it forms the boundary between Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City council areas.

An offshore rock is known as the Blackdog Rock.
