The Parph

An area of remote moorland leading to Cape Wrath in the far northwest of Sutherland, the Parph is delimited by the Kyle of Durness in the east and extends to 20700 ha (51150 acres). Much of the area is given over to military bombing ranges and training grounds, but public access is possible when firing is not taking place. The Clo Mor cliffs, the highest sea cliff in Britain, lie on the north coast.
