Steisay


(Steiseigh)

An uninhabited islet in Bagh nam Faoileann, between Benbecula and South Uist in the Outer Hebrides, Steisay (Gael: Steisaigh) rises to 18m (59 feet) a quarter-mile (0.5 km) south southwest of Lingay, a half-mile (1 km) south of Peter's Port and a mile (1.5 km) southwest of Wiay. Steisay is trimmed by rocks which connect to a group of rocky islets to the northwest, the largest of which is Cleit Steisay.
