Harperleas Reservoir

The highest of a network of reservoirs in the Lomond Hills of W Fife, Harperleas is located near the head of the Lothrie Burn. It was created in 1880 to supply fresh water to the towns of Kirkcaldy and Dysart on the south coast of Fife. It is stocked with brown trout and forms a popular sports fishery.
