Italian Centre

Located on Ingram Street in Glasgow's Merchant City, the Italian Centre was opened in 1988 and was one of the first urban regeneration programmes to be lead by the private sector in the area. Derelict 19th-century tenements have been reclaimed as chic shops, cafes, offices and housing, with an internal courtyard featuring examples of classical and contemporary artwork. The first Versace shop to open in the UK is to be found here.
