Sgorr an Iubhair


(Sgurr an Iubhair, Sgùrr an Iubhair)

The prominent peak of Sgurr an Iubhair rises to 1001m (3284 feet) in the centre of The Mamores range in the SW of the Highland Council Area and is situated a mile (1.5 km) south of Sgurr a' Mhàim and 2½ miles (4 km) north northwest of Kinlochleven. The name is Gaelic, meaning "rocky peak of the yew".
