White Mounth

A lofty and substantial mountain massif within the Grampian Mountains of S Aberdeenshire, White Mounth rises to a height of 1068m (3503 feet) at Creag a' Ghlas-uillt, a mile (1.5 km) south southwest of Lochnagar and 7½ miles (12 km) southeast of Braemar. A subsidiary summit reaches 1051m (3448 feet) above Eagles Rock. The name is also used to refer to the Mounth Plateau which surrounded the summit.
