An ancient well located in the cliffs above Whiting Ness, beyond Victoria Park, a mile (1.5 km) east of the centre of Arbroath, St. Ninian's Well was long believed to have curative powers. It was associated with a chapel dedicated to St Ninian which once lay nearby.
