Barbauchlaw Burn
(Barbauchlaw Water)

A small river of West Lothian, Barbauchlaw Burn (occasionally the Barbauchlaw Water) rises on the border between West Lothian and North Lanarkshire, actually forming the boundary for some 1½ miles (2.5 km). It then skirts Blackridge to the south and Armadale to the north, and passing Bridge Castle before entering the River Avon just to the northeast of Westfield, where it once drove the mills, having completed a course of 8 miles (13.5 km).
