Applecross Peninsula

A remote tract of land in Wester Ross, Highland Council Area, the Applecross Peninsula is bounded by Loch Torridon in the north and Lock Kishorn in the south. The peninsula overlooks the Inner Sound and the islands of Raasay and Rona with Skye beyond. The peninsula measures approximately 15 miles (25 km) from north-to-south along its west coast, narrowing to around 6 miles (10 km) at its neck. It is approximately 9 miles (15 km) in width.
