Port na Curaich

A cove on the south coast of Iona in Argyll and Bute, Port na Curaich (meaning 'landing-place of the coracle') is located 2 miles (3 km) southwest of Baile Mor. It is here that St. Columba is said to have landed in 563 AD and Port na Curaich now forms the eastern section of what is now referred to as St. Columba's Bay.
