Sandyhills Bay

A picturesque bay of Dumfries and Galloway, on the north shore of the Solway Firth, Sandyhills Bay faces onto the Mersehead Sands, 5 miles (8 km) southeast of Dalbeattie. It is popular with tourists, providing a sandy beach with dunes behind.
