Mingulay Bay

(Bàgh Mhiùghlaigh)

A sandy bay on the east coast of the island of Mingulay in the Outer Hebrides, Mingulay Bay (Bàgh Mhiùghlaigh) lies between Rubha an Droma to the north and Hecla Point (Rubha Hèacla) in the south. The bay provides the only way of accessing the otherwise steeply sloping island and the island's settlement was once located here.
