Murrayfield StadiumMurrayfield Stadium lies to the west of the city centre, approximately 2½ miles (4 km) from Edinburgh Castle, just off Corstorphine Road and is the home of the Scottish Rugby Union and of the Scottish Claymores American Football team. The stadium was first opened in 1925 and now has a seating capacity of 67,500 after renovation work undertaken in 1982 and 1989.
