South Head

A rocky headland which represents the southern extent of Wick Bay in Caithness, South Head lies next to Old Wick, 1¼ miles (2 km) southeast of the town centre. An outlook tower is located on the adjacent Hill of Man while, in the 19th century, there were quarries to the northwest.
