A substantial hill of W Angus, Creigh Hill lies to the east of Backwater Reservoir and 2½ miles (4 km) north northwest of Bridgend of Lintrathen. It comprises two summits which both rise to 497m (1630 feet), each marked with ancient cairns named Cairn Motherie and Cairn Plew.
