Bearraich

A steep and rocky hill on the west coast of Mull in the Inner Hebrides, Bearraich rises to 432m (1417 feet) and comprises a horizontal sequence of lava flows which give it its distinctive stepped appearance. This hill lies at the centre of the Burg estate, owned by the National Trust for Scotland. MacCulloch's Fossil Tree is located a mile (1.5 km) to the west.
