A prominent peak with steep eastern and southern faces that lies on the boundary between Highland and Argyll & Bute Council Areas, immediately to the southeast of Lochan na Maoile, Beinn Mhic na Ceisich rises to 627m (2057 feet) a mile (1.5 km) north of Fasnacloich.
