Carlton Place

Designed by Peter Nicholson in 1802, Carlton Place was designed as the showpiece development of the failed attempt by John Laurie to create a high-class residential area to the south of the River Clyde in Glasgow's Laurieston district. Laurieston House is the main feature of the terrace and was home to John Laurie and his brother David.
