A craggy summit in the north of the Cowal Peninsula in Argyll & Bute, Carnach Mor rises to 634m (2080 feet) is located 2 miles (3 km) northeast of the northern end of Loch Eck and 3 miles (5 km) east southeast of Strachur (Clachan Strachur). This peak is connected along a southeast ridge to the more prominent Beinn Bheula.
