One of the Lowther Hills in NE Dumfries and Galloway, Black Hill rises to 531m (1742 feet) to the south of the Dalveen Pass, 1¼ miles (2 km) north of Durisdeer. Its rounded summit provides excellent views over the surrounding countryside.
