Black Shoulder

A rocky spur extending south from Cairnsmore of Carsphairn in N Dumfries and Galloway, Black Shoulder rises to 688m (2257 feet) overlooking Dunool to the west and Knockwhirn to the southeast, 3 miles (5 km) northeast of Carsphairn.
