Cuil Hill

An oval summit surrounded by plantation forest in S Dumfries and Galloway, Cuil Hill rises to 420m (1377 feet) 2¾ miles (4.5 km) west northwest of Criffel and 3¾ miles (6 km) southwest of New Abbey. There is a cairn close to its summit and the hill gives its name to a beer produced by Sulwath Brewers, a family-owned microbrewery based in Castle Douglas.
