A summit in NE Dumfries and Galloway, Wether Hill rises to 386m (1266 feet) 5½ miles (9 km) west southwest of Moniaive and 10 miles (16 km) east southeast of Carsphairn. Another Wether Hill (with a wind farm) lies 3 miles (5 km) to the north, and yet another 11 miles (18 km) to the north northeast.
