Knock Hill

A prominent hill in SW Fife, Knock Hill rises to 364m (1194 feet) 2½ miles (4 km) east northeast of Saline and 6 miles (10 km) west of Kelty. There are transmitter masts around its summit, which is marked by an Ordnance Survey triangulation point. To the southeast of the summit are the remains of an ironstone mine, which was disused by the mid-19th C., while Knockhill motor racing circuit lies on its eastern slopes.
