A summit which rises steeply from the southeastern shore of Loch Ness in Highland, Beinn a' Bhacaidh reaches a height of 555m (1820 feet) a mile (1.5 km) southwest of Loch nan Lann and 1¼ miles (2 km) north northeast of Loch Tarff.
