Sgorr Choinnich


(Sgor Choinnich, Sgòr Choinnich)

A summit of between Sgor Gaibhre and Meall a' Bhealaich on a prominent curved ridge with Ben Alder at its northeastern limit, Sgorr Choinnich rises to 929m (3047 feet) on the border between Perth & Kinross and Highland, 2½ miles (4 km) east of Loch Ossian. Its particularly steep eastern face descends to Lochan a' Bhealaich.
