Wideford Hill

Wideford Hill is the site of a prehistoric chambered tomb, situated at a height of 100m (328 feet) above sea-level, 2½ miles (4 km) west of Kirkwall on Mainland Orkney. The cairn comprises a circular mound of stones with an entry passage leading to a main rectangular chamber and three subsidiary cells.
