A hill of the S Scottish Borders, The Pike is partially cloaked in forest and rises to 463m (1519 feet) 1¼ miles (2 km) north northwest of Maiden Paps and 6 miles (10 km) south of Hawick. An embankment known as the Catrail crosses a short distance north of the summit.
