Kirkhill Forest

An area of plantation pine forest on the western edge of Aberdeen City Council Area, Kirkhill Forest lies to the north of the A96 trunk road a mile (1.5 km) east of Blackburn and 1¼ miles (2 km) east of Aberdeen Airport. The forest spreads over Tyrebagger Hill and the Hill of Marcus. Tyrebagger Wood, with its noted sculpture trail, lies immediately to the south on the opposite side of the A96.
