Beinn a' Chochuill
(Beinn a' Chocuill)

Rising to a height of 980m (3215 feet), Beinn a' Chochuill is located east of Loch Etive and north of Loch Awe, in Lorn district of Argyll and Bute. Lying 6 miles (10 km) east of Taynuilt, it is part of a long ridge connecting Loch Etive to Glen Strae and has a pyramidal form. Its name is derived from the Gaelic for "hill of the hood". Cruachan Power Station sits 4 miles (6 km) to the southwest.
