A modest summit in the centre of the Orkney Mainland, Keelylang Hill rises to 221m (725 feet) 4½ miles (7 km) west of Kirkwall. On its summit is the principal television transmitter in Orkney, which converted from analogue to digital-only transmissions on 26th May 2010.
