Bridge of DonA five-arched bridge crossing the River Don at the northern boundary of the City of Aberdeen, the Bridge of Don was built in 1825 from the proceeds of a bequest made in 1605 by Sir Alexander Hay who left funds to maintain the Auld Brig o' Balgownie which stands close by.
