Stob Ghabhar

A mountain in Highland region at the southern end of the Aonach Mor. It is mainly composed of granite, with the gneiss and granite junction being located close to the east of the summit. At this point hanging corries are located and the transition is marked by the change from short grass to a granite boulder field. The summit is found at 1087m (3576 feet) at the apex of three ridges. The name Stob Ghabhar can be translated as "peak of the goat".
