Corby Loch

A modestly-sized body of water located on the boundary between Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen Council Area, Corby Loch lies amongst low-lying land dotted with old gravel pits 1¼ miles (2 km) southwest of Potterton. Forming part of a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) because of its wildlife interest, Corby Loch extends to 13 ha (32 acres) and is also popular with fishermen for its brown and rainbow trout. The Burn of Mundurno flows from the loch.
