Arail, Loch
(Loch Ellen, Loch Errol)

A small loch in the middle of the Knapdale (Argyll and Bute), Loch Arail (also Loch Ellen or, probably incorrectly on the First Edition of the Ordnance Survey dating from 1872, Loch Errol) lies next to the B8024 road 4 miles (6.5 km) southwest of Ardrishaig. Extending to just a half-mile (0.8 km) in length, the loch is the source of a headstream of the Achahoish Burn.
