A pair of tiny lochans located within the Galloway Forest of W Dumfries and Galloway, the Black Lochs of Kilquhockadale lie a mile (1.7 km) southwest of Urrall Fell, 2 miles (3 km) southwest of Knowe. Now surrounded by plantation forest, they are situated in an area known as Kilquhockadale Flow.
