One of the three lochs which lie next Lochmaben in Annandale, Dumfries and Galloway, Kirk Loch lies immediately to the southwest of the town centre and extends to an area of 13 ha (32 acres). It is overlooked by the motte of Castle Hill and there is a camp-site on its eastern shore.
