Garbh Eileach

The largest of the Garvellachs (Isles of the Sea) in the Firth of Lorn, Garbh Eileach is an uninhabited island with an area of 142 ha (351 acres). It rises to a height of 110m (361 feet) and mainly comprises quartzite and limestone. There are the remains of an ancient fort and a burial ground.
