Creise

Located southeast of the River Etive in Highland, Creise rises to a height of 1100m (3608 feet) overlooking Rannoch Moor to its east. Qualifying as a Munro, it is part of a horseshoe ridge which overlooks Glen Etive and its northern top, Stob a'Ghlais Choire, has a steep northern face. The origin of the name "Creise" is unknown, but is probably from the Gaelic "creis", meaning narrow defile.
