Shuna
(Shuna Island)
Located within Loch Linnhe, Argyll and Bute, Shuna is a privately owned island covering an area of 155 ha (383 acres). Separated from the mainland by the Sound of Shuna, the island is characterised by a table topped hill at its southern end, a small loch, Loch Shuna and Castle Shuna, the remains of which can still be seen at the southern end of the island. The island is uninhabited except for a small farm holding, from where the island's 300 sheep are tended.
