Knapps Loch

A small and shallow loch located close to the eastern border of Inverclyde, Knapps Loch lies a half-mile (1 km) southeast of Kilmacolm. The loch contains several small islands and is artificial, created by a local fishing club in the early 20th century. There is still a small boathouse and landing stage. The Kilmacolm and Port Glasgow Agricultural Society Annual Show takes place in a field next to the loch.
